Step back in time: 27 years of "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now"

Samantha Fox's first single off her self-titled second album entered the UK singles chart 30th May 1987.
The song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now", written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman stormed the European charts and reached #1 in Finland, #2 in Italy, Switzerland and Norway. It reached #8 in the UK, staying in the chart for 9 weeks.
Sam re-recorded the song with producers Pete Hammond, Carl M. Cox and Nathan Thomas to be included in her 2009 "Greatest Hits" compilation, but it still remains unreleased as yet.

New Full Force album out August 19th

The much anticipated new album from Full Force "With Love From Our Friends" that will feature our lovely Samantha Fox among a huge number of other artists, now has a release date you have to mark on your agenda: August 19th.
The group itself announced it today on their Facebook page.
Get ready to discover soon their new collaboration on a pumpin' dance track.

The album "Full Force: With Love From Our Friends" will be released this August with Legacy Recordings, a part of Sony Music Entertainment.
The album will celebrate 30 years of the group in the music business and will feature over 30 special guests! Samantha Fox, Roxanne Shante, Lou$tar, Faith Evans, Sheila E, Tisha Campbell Martin, Malcom Jamal Warner, Allure, Meli'sa Morgan, UTFO, CeCe Peniston, Big Daddy Kane, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Tevin Campbell, Raphael Saadiq, Blair Underwood, R-L, Raymond Luke Jr., Steve Russell, Vivica Fox, Howard Hewett, Flavor Flav, Regina Belle, Naturi Naughton, Shanice, Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Lil G, Slim, Omari Hardwick, Big Daddy Kane, Freedom Williams, Force MDs and others.
Full Force could also appear on next Samantha Fox album for a couple of tracks.

Back in 1988, on 21st May the single "Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)" entered the UK single chart when it stayed for 5 weeks, reaching its peak at #31.
The collaboration between Samantha Fox and hip hop group Full Force became a huge success in USA where it reached #3 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was also ranked as the most popular song of year 1988.
